"33 Days" is an Atresmedia production in collaboration with Luminol Media, Goroka, and Lastor Media. It is directed by Anaïs Pareto, with a script written by Javier Olivares, Jordi Calafí, and Xabi Puerta.

October 2001. Two inmates have spent months plotting a plan to escape from the Lleida penitentiary where they are serving their sentences. Their maneuver, which initially appears successful, becomes increasingly complicated as the days go by. Over the following 33 days, investigators will learn more about the relationship between Prieto and Calatrava, two men with very different personalities.

Actors José Manuel Poga and Julián Villagrán step into the shoes of the two prisoners who will keep the Catalan police in suspense during the thrilling escape. Nausicaa Bonnín and Pau Durà play officers Clara and Pau, who are leading the investigation. The cast is completed by Blanca Parés, Xavi Sáez, Alba Pujol, Joan Solé, Guillem Balart, and Guillem Albasanz.
